TCT Off Broadway will hold auditions for The Last Five Years, music/book/lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, on Sunday November 26th at 3 pm and Monday November 27th at 8 pm at 213 East Franklin Street. The story explores a five-year relationship between Jamie and Cathy using storytelling in which one of the character’s story is told in reverse order. The characters do not directly interact except in the middle as their timelines intersect. Actors should prepare a Broadway song that demonstrates their acting range since this show is almost totally sung through. Actors will be asked to read from the text and may be asked to learn a short selection from the score. An accompanist will be provided. Melanie Deas will direct.
