Characters
WILLIAM GILLETTE: (Age 30-50) Wealthy, celebrated actor. Handsome, good humored and full of irony and full of life.
MARTHA GILLETTE: (Age 70) William Gillette’s mother. Martha is a vague and dithering woman.
FELIX GEISEL (Age Early 40s) An actor. Married to Madge. Histrionic and arch in a Lionel Barrymore sort of way.
MADGE GEISEL: (Age Early 40s) An actress married to Felix. Flamboyant and wry in a Rosalind Russell smart mouth gal about town sort of way
SIMON BRIGHT: (Age 25) An actor. Aggie’s love interest. Sweet, enthusiastic, and good natured.
AGGIE WHEELER (Age 25) An actress. Spunky and beautiful. Simon’s love interest.
INSPECTOR GORING: (Age 40-50) Female, British, eccentric, one of a kind. One minute wry and clever, then next getting things wrong without knowing it.
DARIA CHASE (Age 30-50) An actress. Glamorous and likeable despite her show-biz cattiness. She has a sense of humor.
