HACKETTSTOWN, NJ: The Centenary Stage Company, a not-for-profit professional theatre company in residency on the campus of Centenary University will hold non-union open call auditions for the 2020 Summer Musical Theatre Series productions of Songs for a New World, Forever Plaid and Mamma Mia! Auditions will be held Saturday, March 14 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM in the Lackland Performing Arts Center on the campus of Centenary University located at 715 Grand Ave. Hackettstown, NJ.
The Centenary Stage Company is seeking a diverse company of dynamic actors, singers and movers. Interested performers should provide a headshot, resume, and prepare 16 – 32 bars of a contemporary song from the musical theatre genre. An accompanist will be provided. All roles are available and non-traditional casting will be considered for all roles. Ethnic performers are strongly encouraged to attend. No appointments are necessary. Interested performers will be seen of a first come first serve basis throughout the day. Call backs will be held on Monday, March 16 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Stipend and housing will be provided.

·Sparky: The clown of the group, who is shown to have a heart. Very sharp and loves singing his tailor-made solos. Wears a retainer and has a slight speech impediment. Energetic and clever. Male. 20 - 35. Vocal range top: G5. Vocal range bottom: F3
