THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE - Cotuit Center for the Arts

Cotuit Center for the Arts is holding auditions for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee January 26 & 27.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by William Finn, a book by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman with additional material by Jay Reiss. The show centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups. Show opens May 6-24, 12 shows! Directed by Melinda Gallant. Choreography by Melissa Hallett.

Audition will include reading from the script, basic movement, and learning one song from show.

Callbacks will be held January 28.
