SYNOPSIS: When she's cast as the last girl in a low-budget slasher flick, Sheena thinks it's the big break she's been waiting for. But news of the movie unleashes her malingering, manipulative mother's thwarted feminist rage, and Mom is prepared to do anything to stop filming-even if it kills her.
Characters
Sheena McKinney: Early to mid-20's; girl next-door type. Not book smart but a survivor. She is cast as the last girl in a low-budget slasher film.
Hildy McKinney: 14-18: Sheena's younger sister; she is smarter than Sheena but less capable in a crisis.
Frances McKinney: 42-50, Sheena and Hildy's mother; she is a loud, angry, thwarted feminist with a questionable disability. She gets around the house with the help of her Li'l Rascal Scooter.
Marc Hunter: 30-40, a D-list film director and recovering alcoholic and sex addict. Tells everyone he's younger than he is.
Jody Joshi: Early to mid-20's; an undergrad film school dude. Capable, knows his stuff but he is kind of a kiss-ass.
Christi Garcia: 30's, Assistant Director of the Holy Shepherd Justice League. Very put together, as if she's always ready to make a statement on camera. Not to be underestimated. This same actress also plays or voices the following roles: Woman/Car Hop/Radio Announcer/News Anchor
Bridget/Marcy/Beth/Madison: One actress will play all the other young women who are killed in various ways throughout the filming of the slasher film.
Auditions are at Monmouth Theater: 636 Monmouth St
Newport, KY 41071. Rehearsals begin August 19, and no roles are precast.
