The Palace Theatre Announces Teen Company and Youth Auditions
MANCHESTER, NH – The Palace Theatre will be having auditions for its upcoming fall semester of Teen Company on Monday, September 9th at 6PM. Teen Company is for performers ages 12-18 who want a more intensive theatre experience.
For auditions, please bring a headshot and resume, prepare 16 bars of a song of your choice, preferably musical theatre (you will need to provide your own sheet music) and bring clothes you can move in, as you will be taught a dance combination.
Teen Company begins in September and runs until Mid-November. Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-9PM and Saturday or Sunday from either 10-11:30 or 11:30-1, depending on whether you are placed in Teen Company or Teen Apprentice Company. The semester will end with a full-scale musical - Apprentice Company will perform November 5th and 6th and Teen Company will perform November 12th and 13th.

The Palace Theatre will also be holding auditions for its Palace Youth Theatre production of Willy Wonka Junior. Auditions are for ages 8-18. Audition time slots will be scheduled as follows:
Tuesday, September 3rd – 6PM, 7PM, or 8PM
Wednesday, September 4th – 6PM, 7PM, or 8PM
Expect to stay for your entire one-hour time slot. You will learn a dance and be asked to sing after. Please prepare a short section of a song that you will perform a cappella (no CD or piano).
