Cotuit Center for the Arts (CCftA) in conjunction with the Cape Cod Community College (CCCC) theatre program has announced a collaborative production of "Noises Off" by Michael Frayn to be produced in April 2014.
The production, to be directed by Michele Colley, will bring together community actors, students, artists, educators and local theatre professionals in the first collaboration of its kind between the CCCC and CCftA.
"A collaborative project such as this is a wonderful example of each organization's commitment to the arts and community engagement," says David Kuehn, Executive Director at CCftA. "We are thrilled to be working together with CCCC. In bringing together students, community actors, teachers and audiences, we believe the results will be both exciting and fruitful, and set the stage for many more collaborative opportunities in the future."
"Noises Off" will open on the Tilden Arts Center Main Stage on April 3rd. The production continues Friday and Saturdayevenings at 8:00 pm with Saturday and Sunday matinees at2:00 pm, through April 19th.
Early auditions will be held December 4th from 7-9 pm and 8th from 6-8 pm in the Studio Theatre at CCCC, as well as December 7th from 12-3 pm at CCftA. Additional details will be announced shortly.
