LOCAL YOUTH AUDITIONS TO BE HELD FOR MAURICE HINES IS TAPPIN' THRU LIFE Youth Tap Dancers Sought for the first production in DTC's 2015-2016 Season |
Delaware Theatre Company, under the artistic leadership of Bud Martin, announces local auditions for youth tap dancers ages 6 to 16 for the first production of our season MAURICE HINES IS TAPPIN' THRU LIFE.
Auditions will be held on Thursday, August 20th, 2015 starting at 11am at the Delaware Theatre Company (200 Water Street, Wilmington, DE 19801). Each performer will be asked to perform 30 seconds to 1 minute of their own routine without music. No musical accompaniment will be provided. Following their individual routine, the group will be taught a small routine by Mr. Hines himself.
The youth must be able to attend all performances of TAPPIN' THRU LIFE (September 16-October 4), as well as up to a week of rehearsal prior to first preview. These auditions are only for the Wilmington, Delaware run of this production.
