The forests are not always what they seem in Stephen Sondheim's spellbinding, romantic, and brilliant INTO THE WOODS. Weaving everyone's favorite fairy tales together, this delightful, dark, and witty musicals asks: What happens AFTER happily ever after?
Fresh from their critically acclaimed and Kelsey Award nominated productions of BIG RIVER and MASTER CLASS, the historic and boundary pushing PENNINGTON PLAYERS team up once again with The Kelsey Theatre to conjure this enchanting tale with whimsy, theatrical invention, a small, versatile cast, and an intimate orchestra.

The auditions will take place inside the Communications (CM) Building on the West Windsor campus of Mercer County Community College (1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor, NJ 08550). The CM Building is located directly behind The Kelsey Theatre building. Free parking is available directly next to The Kelsey Theatre building.
AUDITION DAY INFORMATION
AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. (Walk-ins will be accepted, but appointments will have priority.)
To schedule an appointment, please visit http://itwpenningtonplayers.weebly.com/ and fill out the INTO THE WOODS AUDITION SIGN-UP FORM. Slots will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Those who sign up to audition will receive a confirmation e-mail within 48 hours of submitting, notifying them of their specific timeslot.
Please prepare and be ready to sing 16-32 bars of contemporary musical theatre. An accompanist will be provided and sheet music must be in the correct key. Acapella auditions will not be accepted.
Please bring an updated resume and a headshot/recent photo of yourself to the audition. These will be kept and not given back.

REHEARSAL INFORMATION
Rehearsals will take place inside the Communications (CM) Building on the West Windsor campus of Mercer County Community College. Rehearsals will be held 2-3 days each week beginning in mid-November 2014 and leading up to tech week in January 2015. The specific days we rehearse will be dependent upon the schedule of the people who are cast. THOUGH IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT WE WILL NOT BE CASTING PERFORMERS WITH A LOT OF SCHEDULING CONFLICTS.
Tech Week is mandatory for all performers. Tech Week will run from Monday, January 19th through Thursday, January 22nd, beginning at 6pm every night.
