Audition announcement for FROG: A Modern Fairy Tale!
AUDITION INFORMATION:
Saturday June 3rd 1-4pm
@ theBlackBox, Cotuit Center for the Arts.
Arrive any time. There will be a sign in sheet and we will see you on a first come, first served basis.
AGES 10+
All experience levels welcome.
No need to prepare anything.
Actors will be asked to read from the script.
ABOUT THE PRODUCTION:
Frog: A Modern Fairy Tale, by Chris Compton, presented by Theater Under the Stairs on the CCftA Mainstage.
Directed by Holly Erin McCarthy
August 13-26
Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat: 10am and 12:30pm
Sunday: 7pm
Rehearsals begin in July and will be in the afternoons, typically between the hours of 10-2. Must have reliable transportation to and from rehearsal!!!
ABOUT THE CAST:
Kitty Quito - an imaginative young girl
Lil - Kitty's best friend. A frog.
Mrs. Quito - Kitty's mom. Hates fun.
Mr. Quito - Kitty's dad. Likes cheese and pie.
Boggs - the Quito family butler.
ENSEMBLE:
We're looking for 5 versatile actors to play the remaining 15 roles, including An Evil Car Mechanic, Gossipy Chipmunks, a Narrator, Martian Kittens, and many more!
FIGMENTS:
We are also looking to cast about 5 actors to play our FIGMENTS. The FIGMENTS hold the show together and engage the audience between scenes. They are a slapstick, kazooing, physical comedy troupe. Kazooing experience preferred but not required.
