Each summer, talented teens from across the state gather at the Flynn to produce high-quality theatrical productions under a professional team of artist-educators. Over the course of several weeks, they build new skills, exercise their strengths, stretch their limits, and develop close friendships with peers who are passionate in similar ways! Many graduates from the program have gone on to study in the top college, university, and conservatory theater programs around the country, and to pursue professional careers as performers.
The Summer 2017 Musicals are:
Honk, Jr. (ages 11-14)
Rehearsal Dates: Monday-Friday, June 19-30, 8:30 am-3 pm
Performances: June 30 at 4 & 7 pm and July 1 at 1 & 4 pm

Cabaret (ages 14-19)
Rehearsal Dates: S, M, W, July 2, 3, & 5: 9 am-6 pm; Monday-Friday, July 10-21: 12-5:30 pm* (some students may be called as early as 9 am)
Performances: July 20 & 21: 7 pm, July 22: 2 & 7 pm, July 23: 1 & 6 pm

Xanadu (ages 13-19)
Rehearsal Dates: Th-Sat, July 6-8: 9 am-6 pm; July 24-Aug 4: 12-5:30 pm* (some students may be called as early as 9 am)
Performances: Aug 3 & 4: 7 pm, Aug 5: 2 & 7 pm, Aug 6: 1 & 6 pm

• January 9: 5-7 pm (for college students home on break and students who cannot make the Feb 17-19 dates)
• February 17: ages 11-14 (for Honk, Jr. primarily)
• February 18 at 9 am or noon: for ages 14-19
• Feb 19: callbacks, times will vary
REHEARSALS: An initial group get-together and several advance rehearsals will be scheduled in May and June for Lucky Stiff & Spring Awakening. Please hold the Show Choir time slot (Saturdays 12-4pm) open. We will aim for Saturdays, but may need to add some Friday evenings or Sundays. Camp-time rehearsals are held on the dates listed above. Some performers will be expected to attend additional morning or evening rehearsals.
Tuition: Tuition ranges from $595-$695. At auditions you will be asked to provide your credit card # (or a check) for a $350 deposit on tuition. The remaining tuition will be due June 1st. Payment plans are available to split your tuition into multiple installments. Limited scholarships are available for students whose families cannot afford the full tuition.
