EMERGING YOUNG ARTIST SCHOLARSHIP - Stamford Center for the Arts

Auditions for Stamford Center for the Arts’ Emerging Young Artist Scholarship to Take Place Sat. March 9th

Auditions for Stamford Center for the Arts’ Emerging Young Artist Scholarship will be held on Saturday, March 9th, 2013 at 2:00pm. Three professional adjudicators will oversee the auditions: Lynne Colatrella, Paul D. Mills and Brian P. Whitted.

The press is welcome to attend the auditions of nine talented high school vocalists from Trinity Catholic High School, Westhill High School, Brookfield High School, Ridgefield High School, Shelton High School, and Notre Dame Catholic High School.

For the 4th consecutive year, Stamford Center for the Arts will be awarding its Emerging Young Artist Scholarship Award to a talented vocalist, in honor of Liza Minnelli. The recipient of this award will receive a $2,000 scholarship to pursue his/her musical education and will receive the award at the 4th annual Palace Theatre Gala on June 21st.
