Star of the Day is excited to announce auditions for Disney's NEWSIES The Musical.
WHEN: Sunday, January 5, 2020 1-5PM or Monday, January 6, 2020 6-9PM. Callbacks by invitation only on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 6PM.
WHERE: St. John's UCC, 139 N. 4th Street, Lower Level, Emmaus, PA 18049
REHEARSAL DATES: January 12 - March 26 Sundays 1-5, M, W, Th 6-9, Sat 12-5. (Tech week is everyday)
PERFORMANCE DATES: March 27 - April 5
(All rehearsals and performances take place at St. John's UCC)
WHAT:
Star of the Day is a safe theatrical environment and encourages all individuals to audition. We will consider gender bending characters.
If you are auditioning for a female role please prepare The last 32 bars of Watch What Happens
If you are auditioning for a Newsie please prepare Santa Fe from My Old Friend through the end.
If you are auditioning for an adult male role please prepare The Bottom Line
Anyone wishing to be a Newsie will dance at auditions. Make sure you bring jazz shoes and appropriate clothes to move in. You will be required to leap and turn. There is a great deal of dancing in this show.
