Actors Theatre Announces Schedule of Local Auditions for Non-Equity Adult, Teen & Child Actors

April 12 & 13, 2013


Actors Theatre of Louisville will hold auditions for non-Equity adults, ages 14 and up, on April 12, and for children, ages 6-13, on April 13. The auditions are for introductory purposes as the Theatre’s Casting Department seeks to expand its local talent pool and looks to recruit actors for its 2013-2014 Season. Auditions are by appointment only and can be scheduled, beginning April 8, by emailing an audition request to
auditions@actorstheatre.org. Please note, audition space is limited and appointments will be scheduled on a first-come basis. All auditions will be held in the 5th floor rehearsal hall of Actors Theatre of Louisville's Alexander Speer Arts and Commerce Building at 315 West Market St, Louisville, KY 40202.


LOCAL AUDITIONS FOR NON-EQUITY ADULTS AGED 14 & OVER

APRIL 12



Auditions for local non-Equity adults, age 14 and up, will be from 4-10 p.m. April 12 in the fifth-floor rehearsal hall of Actors Theatre’s Alexander Speer Arts and Commerce Building, located at 315 W. Market St. The auditions are for introductory purposes and no specific roles are being cast at this time. Actors must prepare a one-minute memorized monologue. The material may be taken from poetry, short stories, essays or plays. All actors must bring a recent snapshot or photograph. Auditions are by appointment only after April 8, 2013 and can be scheduled by emailing
auditions@actorstheatre.org. Audition space is limited and appointments will be taken until all appointments have been filled. No appointments will be taken prior to April 8, 2013.



LOCAL AUDITIONS FOR CHILDREN APRIL 13



Auditions for local children ages 6 – 13 will be Saturday, April 13th from 4—10 p.m. in the fifth-floor rehearsal hall of Actors Theatre’s Alexander Speer Arts and Commerce Building, located at 315 W. Market St. The auditions are for roles in the annual holiday productions of Dracula and A Christmas Carol. All participants must prepare a short memorized monologue or poem, a short true-life story and an age appropriate joke. Please bring a recent snapshot or photograph with child’s name, height and weight on the back. Please email
auditions.actorstheatre.org and tell us the age and gender of your child and provide a contact email and phone number. Audition space is limited. Appointments will be scheduled on a first-come basis. No appointments will be taken prior to April 8th, 2013.
