Who can audition?
Anyone (please note there are adult themes and language – not to mention full puppet nudity)

When and Where are the auditions?
Preliminary Auditions: Sunday, November 24th (7-9pm) Tuesday, November 26th (7-9pm)
Callbacks: Sunday, December 1st (7pm-)

How do I sign up?
Audition forms will be available for download at www.mmplayers.org to fill out prior to the auditions. Forms will also be available the night of auditions. Bring a resume if you have one and a headshot. (If you do not have a headshot, any photo that resembles you is appropriate).

What should I prepare?
For your audition, please prepare 32 bars of a rock/pop/folk song or contemporary theatre song. A professional accompanist will be provided. A cappella is discouraged. You may perform a song from AVENUE Q for preliminary auditions. Please wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in as you may be asked to do some “movement”. During auditions you may be asked to work with the Puppets. Please contact Rob Thornton at 860-921-8431 with any questions or concerns.

How will I know about callbacks?
You will receive a phone call regarding callbacks. If you do not receive a phone call you might be contacted via email regarding your role in the show.

What is the rehearsal schedule?
Rehearsals will begin for the entire company in mid to late February. Weekly rehearsals will generally run Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday from 7-10pm, with the exception of the week before the show. We will try to work around your schedules until tech week (May 3-8). On the audition form you will be able to list all conflicts.
