Provincetown Theater Casting Cape Cod Premiere of Tony Award and Pulitzer Winner August: Osage County

Directed by artistic director David Drake,

production opens 2019 Season on May 8th

The Provincetown Theater will hold open auditions for its 2019 spring production of Tracy Letts’ fiercely funny family drama August: Osage County on Saturday, January 26th from 1-5pm, and Sunday, January 27th from 3-6pm. Auditions for non-union actors will take place at the Provincetown Theater, 238 Bradford Street, Provincetown, MA 02657.

Directed by the theater’s artistic director David Drake, the production will begin rehearsals the third week in March (in accommodation with actors work schedules) and continue thru the month of April. Production is set to open May 8th for a three-weekend run (Wed - Sun) to May 26, 2019.

A cast of 12 non-union actors are needed. All roles open, except matriarch Violet Weston. Male characters range from age 30 - 60. Female characters range from age 15 - 45. Each actor will be paid a $300 honorarium for participation in the production. Sides provided at auditions.
