Playwright Yasmina Reza wrote “God of Carnage.” The play requires two females and two males, portraying two couples. All roles are written as parents in their mid-30s to mid-40s who have children of late elementary to middle school age. Director Peters said actors able to play characters in that range will be considered. There are no limitations in regard to race and/or ethnicity
The couples are Annette and Alan Raleigh and Veronica and Michael Novak. All actors will prepare two sides – one monologue, and one side that will be read with an audition monitor. Information and a link to sides is available at
www.possumpointplayers.org. Those who cannot access the “God of Carnage” link on Possums’ website may contact Peters at

Female Roles: Prepare Annette Side (A) and Veronica Side (B). Male Roles: Prepare Alan Side (C) and Michael Side (D) Memorization is NOT mandatory but encouraged. Peters encourages all to dress comfortably and have fun!
