“Are you our Annie?” The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati is asking that question as they look for the next star to take the stage as the beloved redhead in their production of “Annie JR.” opening at the Taft Theatre in October. Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 13 from 1 PM to 5 PM at Kenwood Towne Centre, girls at least nine years-old can audition to be the lead in “Annie JR.” by pre-registering with The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati. A limited number of spots are available.

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. With the help of the other girls, Annie escapes to the wondrous and magical world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and finds a family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
