“A VERY BROADWAY CHRISTMAS”
2024 Audition Notice
DESCRIPTION:
SEEKING:
Chorus singers and dancers of all types and backgrounds for Broadway on the Bay’s A Very Broadway Christmas revue featuring Broadway stars singing holiday classics at The Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete, FL
[SINGERS] 16+. Seeking excellent singers to join the Broadway on the Bay professional choir. Singers must be able to hold tight harmonies and blend with other voices. Seeking featured vocals as well. Singers may be asked to move/dance as needed, but not required. Video Submissions will be considered and asked to attend callbacks on 9/22/24 after the Open Call.
[DANCERS] 16+. Excellent dancers, to play Rockette types and Elves. Acting skills and acrobatics are a plus. It is advised to come to the Open Call on 9/22/24, but if there is a conflict in the schedule, you may submit a video stating your inability to be in person on 9/22/24.
HOUSING AND TRANSPORTATION NOT PROVIDED

PREPARATION
[SINGERS]: Prepare 32 bars of your own song in the style of musical theater or Christmas. Choose your vocal part and prepare the final 32 bars of Sparklejollytwinklejingley (see link).
[DANCERS]: Be prepared to dance in comfortable clothing for all styles (specifically hip hop and rockette). Sneakers, Jazz/character, and tap shoes. Bring a photo/resume stapled together.
