CENTENARY STAGE COMPANY HOLDS OPEN NON-EQUITY AUDITIONS FOR A CHRISTMAS CAROL: THE MUSICAL IN THE LACKLAND CENTER.
Centenary Stage Company will be holding local, non-equity open auditions for A Christmas Carol: The Musical on Saturday, Sept 12 from 6 – 9pm and Monday, Sept 14 from 3 – 7pm. From the creators of Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid, Ragtime and Seussical: A Christmas Carol, The Musical is filled with beautiful melodies by Alan Menken and memorable lyrics by Lynn Ahrens.
Auditions will be held in the David and Carol Lackland Center located on the campus of Centenary College at 715 Grand Ave Hackettstown, NJ. The production will be directed & choreographed by Broadway Veteran Michael Blevins with rehearsals beginning on October 3.
CSC is seeking actors, singers and dancers – specifically strong dancers who sing and singers who dance - for this exuberant lively version of the Charles Dickens family classic. Performers should prepare 16-32 bars of a song from the traditional musical theatre genre. An accompanist will be provided. There will be a movement portion of the audition. Please be prepared to dance. Sides will be provided at the auditions. No appointment necessary. Performers will be seen on a first come first serve basis.
The role of Ebenezer Scrooge is cast. All other principal roles are available. CSC is seeking a diverse company. Ethnic performers are strongly encouraged to attend.

A Christmas Carol: The Musical will open Nov. 27 and run through Dec 13, with performances Wednesdays through Sundays, in the Sitnik Theater of the David and Carol Lackland Center.
