STG announces the 16th annual More Music @ The Moore Auditions, to be held at The Vera Project on January 9-11, 2017. STG is seeking exceptional musicians ages 14-21 to audition for the program, which selects bands/ensembles/soloists to receive music industry inside training with locally based mentors, as well as the opportunity to work directly and perform with an internationally renowned music director. Through the More Music @ The Moore program young artists have performed with The Roots, Elvis Costello, Sheila E., Mike McCready, Jon Batiste and Stay Human, Meshell Ndegeocello, Michael Shrieve, Alan White and more!

All music genres and cultures are welcome and those interested in a music career with original compositions are especially encouraged to audition. The program provides young artists training and rehearsal time with professional and peer musicians, as well as production and promotional support, with two culminating performances at the historic Moore Theatre on March 24, 2017.

Our mission is to make diverse performing arts and education an integral part of our region's cultural identity while keeping three historic venues, The Paramount, Moore and Neptune, alive and vibrant. STG presents a range of performances from Broadway, off-Broadway, dance and jazz, to comedy, concerts of all genres, speakers and family shows - at these three iconic theatres in Seattle and venues throughout the Puget Sound region and in Portland, Oregon.
