Melted or shredded; hard or semisoft, cheese is the ultimate snack and meal compliment. Lucky for cheese and poutine lovers, Zeppelin Hall Restaurant and Biergarten's very own Executive Chef Franco Robazetti has curated a menu of over seven grilled cheese sandwiches and seven kinds of poutine dishes. The special festival menu is available through December 23rd. Zeppelin Hall features a spacious bar, communal seating and a relaxed atmosphere that invites good times. And with 144 draft lines of European beers and American craft brews available, you can enjoy incredible pairings for your meal.
The annual festival will offer cheese enthusiasts unique combinations that could ever happen between two slices of bread! Get gooey with fun grilled mash-ups such as the Pizza Melt Grilled Cheese, melted mozzarella cheese with slow simmered marinara sauce & pepperoni, which will have you feel like you just walked into to your favorite pizzeria; Bacon Jam Grilled Cheese, bacon jam made with maple syrup, brown sugar, coffee and seasonings and sharp yellow cheese; or get spicy with the Jalapeño Popper Melt, which includes crispy fire roasted jalapeño poppers oozing with melted American cheese; for veggie lovers try the Veggie Grilled Cheese which consists mixed wild mushrooms, caramelized Spanish onions and aged gouda cheese.
And the cheesy fun doesn't stop. Now you don't have to go all the way to Montreal for some poutine since Chef Franco will be offering five different types of special poutines including the Chicken Diablo Poutine, featuring grilled chicken, jalapenos, sriracha and red pepper flakes or go southern with the Smoke Haus BBQ Poutine, smoked pulled pork, jalapeño pickles and cheddar cheese; or go sweet with the Sweet Poutine Dessert, a savory and sweet potato fries seasoned with spicy cinnamon and homemade Nutella gravy with marshmallow curds.
