General Summary: The Wardrobe Supervisor is a department head level position that oversees all Wardrobe Dressers and Wig Assistants and will work directly with Production Management, Stage Management, Costume Shop Managers, and Designers to facilitate and manage all costume, wardrobe, wig, hair, and makeup needs for the run of all Asolo productions.

Essential Job Functions:
♦ Familiarize yourself with the show's specific designs, pieces, and needs in both the wardrobe and wigs departments.
♦ Coordinate with Director of Production, designers, shop heads, and stage management, to establish a clear line of communication regarding the wardrobe needs of the show.
♦ Generate and maintain wardrobe paperwork for the run of the show. Including, but not limited to, wardrobe running tracks and presets.
♦ Supervise and have a working knowledge of all crew tracks backstage to facilitate any sub-ins for crew replacements and being prepared to assist or run any track as needed backstage.
♦ Supervise and assist in the maintenance of the wardrobe pieces and wigs, serving as a liaison with the costume shop for larger repairs and needs.
♦ Facilitate the laundering and dry-cleaning of all wardrobe and wigs pieces.
♦ Facilitate load-in and strike for each production.
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
♦ Possess good sewing skills along with understanding of garment construction, and knowledge of millinery, crafts, and wig maintenance required.
♦ Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
♦ Ability to respond to changing circumstances quickly and with a positive attitude, developing creative and practical solutions to problems as they arise.
♦ Commitment to equitable and safe working practices.
♦ Flexibility in working schedules which may require ability to work long work weeks, including evenings and weekends.
♦ Demonstrate high organizational skills, promptness, and self-motivation, with the ability to adhere to deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
Minimum Education/Experience Required:
♦ Experience working in a theatrical costume shop, wardrobe department, wardrobe management, or equivalent technical experience.
♦ Experience working backstage in a theatrical environment.
♦ Experience in managing a team of varying sizes.
♦ Experience working with IATSE and AEA preferred.
Salary: $20-25$ hourly
