TOURING STAGE MANAGER - Green Feather Foundation INc

Green Feather Foundation Inc seeks a collaborative AEA Stage Manager for an upcoming tour of AJIJAAK ON TURTLE ISLAND.



AJIJAAK ON TURTLE ISLAND is a Native American/First Nations Tale told through Puppetry, Dance and Movement, Native Songs, Text and Storytelling. Cultural Truth of the Native People is essential to the storytelling. Six Native American/First Nations Actors, each play multiple characters in this Native American/First Nations story of Ajijaak, a Crane whose journey takes her from Birth through learning how to care for Mother Earth.



It is, at once, a delightful tale of Native Culture, a journey through puppetry, movement, and music, and an awakening for Children of All Ages to the ways we can respect and care for our environment and our beloved planet.



The current schedule for 2023 is as follows:

-January 30-February 18 - Rehearsal in NYC

- February 19th to March 10th +ndash; Load In, Tech in NYC and First Tour stop in Lincoln NE - March 23rd to March 26th +ndash; Travel and tour stop in Bloomsburg PA

- April 6th to April 9th +ndash; Travel and tour stop upstate NY

- April 18th to April 22nd +ndash; Travel and tour stop in Beaver Creek CO

- April 27th to April 30th +ndash; Travel and tour stop In Fort Collins CO

- Dates are subject to change.



Pay: $1200/week for rehearsal and performance weeks, plus housing and per diem while outside of NYC



Experience touring in commercial venues preferred.
