Seeking any and all existing music from JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR GOSPEL - Hunter Arrogant Entertainment

In the 2008/09 theatrical season, Jesus Christ Superstar GOSPEL, a re-conception of the musical by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber that was one part the original and one part contemporary gospel, was presented at the Alliance Theatre for a critically acclaimed run... and never performed again.



However, an intrepid group of artists of color is looking to revive this unique version of the classic rock opera in the recording studio for an album soon to be released on all streaming services, dedicated to the memory of Louis St. Louis, the legendary arranger who conceived this unusual take.



To that end, we are reaching out to anyone in Atlanta who was involved, seeking all scores and band parts still in existence to aid in our rebuilding of what once was from the ground up. (We will likely be able to reconstruct much of what audiences heard from a vocal score, a couple of demos, and an audience recording already in our possession, but anything that might make our task easier would be most appreciated.) Discretion is key; you will not be outed to anyone who might have an issue with your providing this material.
