Seeing Moving Light Technician in Nashville location…



Strictly FX in Nashville, is looking for a full-time Moving Light Technician. This will be a full-time position in our Nashville location.

Job Description:

• Being able to assess and troubleshoot issues with advanced laser gear.

• Repairing electronics with good soldering skills and general to advanced electronics knowledge.

• Basic computer and network troubleshooting, as most lasers are controlled via Network.

• Support Laser Department with packing and unpacking of gear from shows.

• Travel required.

Skills:

• General to advanced electronics knowledge.

• Ability to handle a soldering iron.

• Ability to read schematics, mechanical and electronic drawings.

• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot, analytical.

• Strong Computer skills – MS Office at least, Adobe Creative Suite a plus.

• Able to lift 50 or more lbs.

• Knowledge of ethernet cabling and repair.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:

• Electronics Experience (intermediate to advanced).

• Networking experience.

• Lighting/DMX experience a plus.

• Entertainment Industry a plus.

Requirements:

• Fluent in computers and software

• HS Diploma

• Some College
