Hours: Varies based on need at rehearsal

Stipend: $2000



Raue Center School For The Arts (RCSA) is thrilled to be launching its 2025 Season of productions and is looking for a skilled, self-motivated Choreographer to join our team for the RCSA production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: High School Edition. Potential Choreographer should be a self-starter and an excellent collaborator with the creative team members.



The Choreographer will oversee the creative dance portion of the production for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: High School Edition. Job overview includes the following:



Choreographer Responsibilities:

Design and create original dance routines and sequences tailored to performances, specific show themes, music, and styles within the world of Harry Potter,and levels of experience based on the students enrolled in the production.

Collaborate closely with directors, performers, and production staff to align choreography with artistic visions and themes.

Provide coaching and training to students, ensuring proper technique and performance quality.

Integrate innovative ideas into choreographic work that reflect the music styles and scenes/transitions within the show.

Assist in auditions by preparing a short dance combination to help get a better understanding of level experience, and assist in cast selection and rehearsals as needed.

Establish choreography rehearsals by coordinating with the Director and Stage Manager..

Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional working environment.



Important Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: High School Edition dates:

Auditions & Rehearsal Dates: Auditions & Rehearsal Dates: March 17th – June 29th, 2025

There will be time off during this long process and we will work around things like Spring Break, Prom, Graduation, end of school year events. Rehearsals will begin with perhaps 2 - 3 times a week and then gradually move into more nights as we get closer to the summer.



Show Dates: Thursday, June 26 @ 7 PM | Friday, June 20, 27 @ 8 PM| Saturday, June 21, 28 @ 2 PM & 7 PM | Sunday, June 22, 29 @ 2 PM
