TWO RIVER THEATER (Two River) is seeking passionate and committed theater professionals who will provide inspiring and community focused leadership as their next Artistic Director. Two River’s next Artistic Director will have the opportunity to lead a thriving company that produces exceptionally high quality theatrical offerings that seek to elicit active dialogue with the theater’s surrounding community. Two River is thought of as a treasured artistic home for world class artists, many of whom are rooted in the nearby New York City entertainment community. The next Artistic Director will build upon a dynamic foundation that has allowed the company to explore works from a broad range of the theatrical canon–new plays, fresh looks at classics, musical theater, and special theatrical events and showcases that intentionally expand the idea of what learning and entertainment can be for audiences of all ages. A real and authentic commitment to advancing strong ideals around diversity, equity, inclusion, and access will be central to the Artistic Director’s personal and professional values, and an active demonstration of those principles will be obvious in all artistic cultivation, mentorship, and planning. The right artistic leader for Two River will prioritize organizational curation above all else, creating teams, infrastructure, and ongoing relationships built upon trust and generosity. As the theater's visionary producer, the Artistic Director will work in partnership with a soon-to-be-identified Managing Director as Two River also embarks on a search to find the successor to its longtime administrative leader who will also be transitioning from the company in coming months. Two River Theater has engaged Management Consultants for the Arts to lead the search for their Artistic Director, and more information on this opportunity and the application process can be found at: https://mcaonline.com/searches/artistic-director-trt
