Donate to Musical Theatre West in Los Angeles

For our nonprofit theater, it’s an opportunity to raise critical funds to continue bringing live theater and educational programs to students and communities.This Giving Tuesday, we’re working to close the $10,000 gap for a much-needed educational van for MTW’s Education-Outreach program. Your donation will help us continue bringing the joy of live theater to over 9,700 students across Long Beach each year. Our Educational Tours serve over 4,000 students in just two weeks, but transporting our actors and equipment across multiple locations each day is challenging. A utility van with a lift gate will make our tours more efficient, safe, and sustainable—helping us carry heavy equipment with ease and reducing the strain on our team.

Musical Theatre West (MTW) is one of Southern California's premiere Musical Theatre Companies with the mission of enriching the community with Broadway-quality productions, preserving musical theatre as a unique American art form and exposing people of all backgrounds to the excitement of musical theatre. Each year, MTW produces 4 mainstage musicals at the Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center made up of of local theatre professionals and artists. Simultaneously, MTW also provides a multitude of Education-Outreach programs for local youths in our community to experience the magic of theatre, many for the first time ever!
