This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to help us bring the magic of live theater to our community. At Hillbarn Theatre, we believe in the power of storytelling to inspire, connect, and celebrate what makes us human. But this work can only happen with support from generous donors like you. As a non-profit theater, every gift we receive directly fuels our mission to produce high-quality performances, provide educational programs for youth, and make theater accessible for all. With each donation, you're not just supporting a show; you're building a space where creativity thrives and where diverse voices are heard and celebrated. With your help, we can continue to make theater a cornerstone of our community. No gift is too small, and every donation brings us one step closer to our goal. Let's keep the arts alive together! Thank you for being part of our story.
Hillbarn Theatre & Conservatory is one of the Bay Area’s most beloved not-for-profit theaters! We create live, award-winning theatre and conservatory education programs from our home, an intimate 179 seat theater right in the heart of Foster City, CA. Under the guidance of Executive Artistic Director Steve Muterspaugh and Conservatory Director Kimberly Braun, as well as a staff of dedicated and diverse artists, Hillbarn is committed to producing both classic and contemporary works, giving full voice to a wide range of artists and visions. Our programming is driven by the founding ideal “To create theatre with the community, for the community.” Our productions explore narratives that utilize our intimate space, blurring the lines between the audience and the artists that results in the shared experience of empathy and education. By dedicating ourselves to three guiding principles—quality, diversity and community—Hillbarn Theatre & Conservatory seeks to be an artistic home, providing productions and programs that make an essential contribution to the quality of life in the Bay Area. Founded in 1941, Hillbarn is housed at its fully-owned historic 179-seat theater in Foster City and anchored by a small dynamic staff, committed board of directors, devoted patrons and donors and a strong team of volunteers.
