Chatham Baroque connects diverse audiences to the passion and depth of the music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, and Early Classical periods. Giving Tuesday gifts support our performance and educational programming through the production and presentation of vivid and compelling programs and educational experiences.
Since its founding in 1990, Chatham Baroque has become "One of the country's most distinguished period ensembles" (Palisadian Post), and "One of Pittsburghs greatest treasures" (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette). Chatham Baroque is led by Artistic Directors Andrew Fouts (violin) and Scott Pauley (theorbo & baroque guitar) and co-founder Patricia Halverson (viola da gamba). Our performance seasons consist of a rich array of self-produced concerts and presentations of touring artists and ensembles for area music lovers. We take performances out of the formal concert hall and into unique venues throughout the city, incorporating great music, great food and drink, and great people. Past venues have included art galleries, museums, restaurants, wineries, and historic homes and churches.
