Breakdown

Seeking Male and Female local, principal actors of all ages and ethnicities for Theatricum's 2016 (Outdoor Theatre) Summer Repertory Season: Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, and Titus Andronicus; TOM based on Uncle Tom’s Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe and adapted by Ellen Geer, and The Imaginary Invalid by Moliere.

A Midsummer Night's Dream begins rehearsals on 4/5 and Romeo and Juliet begins rehearsals on 4/9, both perform weekday mornings throughout May, early June and again in at the end of September and early October. Weekend repertory performances run 6/4 thru 10/10. Titus Andronicus, TOM, and The Imaginary Invalid rehearse evenings in late May through July, and join the repertory performances through 10/2.

All races and ethnicities are encouraged to apply

ROMEO AND JULIET

All roles available. Roles will be understudied.

The Montagues (Romeo's family, friends, and Friar Lawrence) will be characters of Muslim, Arab, or Middle Eastern decent.

The Capulets (Juliet's family/household and the Prince) will be characters of Israeli and Jewish decent. (this can include Jews of all backgrounds who may have resettled in Israel, including Ethiopian Jews)
