OLD GEORGE GALLAGHER
Female identifying, sixties. GEORGE as she really is, impossibly thin, mostly bald and riddled with cancer. She suffers from chemotherapy-induced dementia.
MICHAEL FELLER
Male identifying, thirties. JOY's graduate student, completing his dissertation.
ANNA DAY
Female identifying, thirties/forties. A hospice nurse and avid knitter. ANNA's clothes are a homemade mosaic, a funky collage of color, not at all dowdy.
The following roles have been CAST. Actors may be considered for possible replacement if needed.
JOY GALLAGHER
CAST. Female identifying, late-thirties/early-forties. A professor of space and time philosophy.
YOUNG GEORGE GALLAGHER
CAST. Female identifying, varies in age between twenties/thirties/forties. JOY's mother in her memories - beautiful, lively and outspoken with a loud, infectious laugh.
