BREAKDOWN
A contemporary play about the challenge of being a theater artist. Three actors collide in this humorous commentary on art and on life in the theater. The rehearsal that won’t and can’t end, simply dances on and we all laugh. A fantastic opportunity for actors who are versatile and can find humor in chaos.
Roxanne - CAST
Harry - 35-50 – A working actor, who has settled for the understudy role, but really is better than that, so he thinks.
Jake – 30-45 - Movie star who is starring in live theater. Good looking, takes himself quite seriously, but secretly knows the limit of his talent.
