LOA

$17 per hour for rehearsals (LOA-PP Ref. to LORT)

$127 per performance (LOA-PP Ref. to LORT)

SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in THE TEMPEST (See breakdown).

Actors of all racial identities, gender expressions and physical abilities will be considered for all tracks.

PREPARATION

Please prepare the side for the character that you would like to audition for. Sides will be provided once you secure an audition appointment.

BREAKDOWN

THE TEMPEST

NOTE: This production will include music and puppetry; please have any relevant experience in your resume. Six actors will make up the company, some playing multiple roles.

SEEKING:

Prospero (30s-50s, any race/gender): A once powerful political leader, since deposed and exiled. Now a skilled magician, Miranda’s only living parent and de facto ruler of the island.

Ariel (10s-30s, any race/gender): An airy spirit, in service to Prospero, gracefully athletic and a capable singer.

Caliban / Others (20s-40s, any race/gender): An island native subdued by Prospero.

Miranda (10s-20s, any race/gender): A young child of Prospero, isolated on the Island since infancy, falls in love with Ferdinand.

Alonso/Stefano/Others (20s-40s, any race/gender): A political leader, a drunken butler, etc. Ferdinand / Others (10s-20s, any race/gender): Child of Alonso and in love with Miranda
