The Cult Play is a three-act play about a female cult leader, Mama Pearl, who fears she’s losing control after the defection of a longtime follower. In order to keep her parishioner’s belief, Mama Pearl prophesizes the second coming of their Goddess. Now she’ll do anything to make her great vision of the future a reality.

BREAKDOWN
CLOVER
Female, 18-25: Clover is one of the Soul Scout’s at Mama Pearl’s North Eastern Spiritual Center. She is probably one of Mama’s Pearl’s best and brightest Soul Scouts, a devout believer in the Goddess and a skilled yogi. She is a calm, intuitive and pure. While she may have broken a rule or two, she doesn’t fear punishment and eagerly awaits good signs from the Goddess. Any ethnicity.
NORA
Female, 40-60: Nora is one of the longest and most devout Soul Scouts at the North Eastern Spiritual Center. She is timid, organized, and righteous. She loves Mama Pearl and will do anything for her, until someone makes her question her loyalties to Mama and the center.
