PETER, (Early 30s) - Formerly Ivy League, possibly gay.

AMY, (20s-30s) -- Neurotic Catholic who gets cold feet on her wedding day.
PAUL, (20s-30s) -- Amy's fiancé, Jewish, who has learned how to put up with her manic spells.
JOANNE, (40s-50s) Cynical, older than Robert's other friends, and very acerbic; only drinks with Robert.
LARRY, (40s-50s) Joanne's third husband; sweet and understanding.
MARTA, (Early 20’s) -- Hip and vulgar; loves New York.
KATHY, (20s-30s) A small-town girl who feels out of place in New York; Robert's long-time on-off girlfriend.
