Please prepare a brief cut of a monologue from a Shakespeare play in verse. Also, bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

Rehearsals will take place in Central Park, 10 am-3:30 pm. Also selected daytime Tech Put-In Rehearsals in other venues and other potential daytime rehearsals (see Equity agreement).
Performances will take place in Central Park, Carl Schurz Park, and Battery Park. All evening performances will be 7-9 pm. Three or four potential matinees (TBD) 11 am-1 pm.

The production will be staged in New York Classical Theatre’s signature performance style, Panoramic Theatre.

It is in service of our mission that we assemble a company whose majority is comprised of historically underrepresented performers and whose backgrounds reflect the global majority audience communities we serve in New York City.

All should be skilled with classical text and have the vocal strength and training/experience to work in large, outdoor spaces without sound amplification. The play will be performed in Central Park (West 103rd x CPW), Carl Schurz Park (East 87th Street x East End Avenue), and The Battery (State Street x Battery Place, Lower Manhattan).
