Male; leading man; 40-55; a wealthy, cultured and urbane French plantation owner. Strong and principled. Strong baritone
LIEUTENANT JOSEPH CABLE, U.S.M.C.: Caucasian Male; 18-30; a young, Princeton-educated and good-looking officer; must be masculine with a good physique and believable as a member of the Marine Corps; soaring Tenor (E3 to G4);
