Seeking the following:
DON LOCKWOOD (Male, 25-40, any ethnicity): a suave Hollywood leading man; good singer; excellent dancer with strong tap; charming, charismatic.
KATHY SELDON (Female, 20-30, any ethnicity): beautiful ingénue; must sing & dance (especially tap) extremely well.
LINA LAMONT (Female, 25-40, any ethnicity): comic actor/singer; a slow-witted silent film diva with a big personality and a harshly shrill, unpleasant voice; Don's regular co-star.
COSMO BROWN (Male, 25-40, any ethnicity): comic actor/singer/dancer with strong tap; a wacky and playful on-set pianist for silent films; Don's best friend and former dance partner.
R F SIMPSON (Male, 40-60, any ethnicity): comic character actor; a successful, magnanimous, film producer; leads the other characters in creating a new movie musical.
ROSCOE DEXTER (Male, 30-60, any ethnicity): a famous film director with theatrical mannerisms and tendencies; frequently frazzled; must handle comedy.
ZELDA ZANDERS (Female, 25-40, any ethnicity): a flapper socialite and actress on her ninth marriage, she is Lina's friend and informant; must handle comedy.
SPENDRILL/VOICE COACH (Male, 30-60, any ethnicity): comic character man, strong comedian.
DORA BAILEY/DINSMORE (Female, 35-60, any ethnicity): comic character woman, strong comedian.
ROD (Male, 30-50, any ethnicity): works for Simpson as Monumental Pictures' PR Man; high up on the food chain.
PRODUCTION SINGER (Male, 25-40, any ethnicity): strong tenor who dances; the lead tenor in Monumental Pictures' first movie musical.
