Breakdown

Synopsis:
In the spring of 2011, five weeks into the civil uprising in Syria, Jameel welcomes houseguest, Haytham, into his NY apartment. An unclear tension starts brewing between the two leading them into a re-examination of their lives and a revelation of how their different pasts have intertwined and forced them into choices that neither ever imagined.

Seeking:

HAYTHAM
Syrian-American Male, 55. Since immigrating to the United States with his family more than a decade ago, he has become heavily involved with the Opposition against the Syrian Regime. He is smart, calculated and adaptive.

JAMEEL
Syrian-American Male, 40. Writer. He is single and lives alone in NY, while is parents are back in Syria. He is reclusive, highly intelligent, unpredictable, fearless and at times quirky.
