SHE, a Choreoplay is a new and provocative choreoplay that uses dance, drama, music, and film to interweave stories of sexual violence against women and girls, Sandra Bland, and healing. Joining the themes of The Vagina Monologues and For Colored Girls…. in the 21st century, SHE is also inspired by current and historical events, as well as research, interviews, and Parker’s own family story. SHE employs a diverse ensemble of actors and dancers utilizing monologue/dialogue and various forms of classic and modern movements to bring these stories of empowerment to the stage. Visit
