Seeking All Equity Actors are encouraged to audition at our season generals. There have been staffing changes in the casting department and this would be a great opportunity to meet with Kaytlin McIntyre, the new Casting Associate.
Preparation Please prepare two contrasting monologues of your choice.

Dear Elizabeth Elizabeth Bishop: Female, between 40 and 60. Six years older than R.L. Poet. Lonely, loving, a deliberate yet adventurous spirit. Robert Lowell: Male, between 40 and 60, nicknamed “Cal.” Six years younger than E.B. Poet. Passionate and energetic, he occasionally acts carelessly from pure instinct.

The Comparables Iris: Broker in her late 20s, any ethnicity. Appears inexperienced but ambitious, ruthless, and knows how to use her assets. Monica: Broker in her late 30s, any ethnicity. Dependable, idealistic beneath a veneer of experience. Bette: Broker in her later 50s-early 60s, any ethnicity. The boss. A formidable woman with charisma and momentum.

Outside Mullingar Tony Reilly: Male, 70s, Irish. Down-to-earth, dark sense of humor and an acute sense of nostalgia. Anthony Reilly: Male, late 30s – early 40s, Irish. A loner and a dreamer, he loves his home and neighbors but doesn’t quite know how to connect with them. Aoife Muldoon: Female, 70s, Irish. Suffering from emphysema. Bleakly practical and resigned. Rosemary Muldoon: Female, 40s, Irish. Stubborn and passionate, she holds a grudge and resents other people’s evasiveness even when she herself is indirect.
