BREAKDOWN
CAPTAIN TEMPEST plays 30-40. Charismatic Leading Man who is comfortable with Shakespearean dialogue, plays guitar, and has a fantastic pop voice. Sense of humor and comedic ability a must. Any race. Sings “Young Girl” in the original Gary Puckett key, lead vocal on “Good Vibrations”, also sings “It’s A Man’s World”, and “Shakin’ All Over”. Vocal range Strong Tenor
BOSUN - Comedic actor who can handle Shakespearean dialogue, play guitar extremely well, and sing pop music. The Bosun is not unlike Scotty from Star Trek. Pragmatic, calm, with and ironic sense of humor. Any race. Scottish accent a plus. Vocal Range Bari-Tenor
ARIEL, THE ROBOT - A Robot Man. And age or race as long as the actor is physically adept. Looking for a great physical comedian. Must feel comfortable with Shakespearean dialogue and be willing to wear “Heelys” in the show. Sings “Who’s Sorry Now?”. Ability to play an instrument is a plus. Vocal range - Baritone
