First Public Performance: 7/5/25

PETER (Boy)/ENSEMBLE: A brave, adventurous orphan who doesn’t remember his past but is destined for greatness. Fearless, resourceful, and has strong comedic timing.

MOLLY/ENSEMBLE: A smart, independent Starcatcher-in-training who helps guide Peter on his journey. Clever, resourceful, and able to balance strength with vulnerability.

BLACK STACHE/ENSEMBLE: A flamboyant, over-the-top pirate captain with a flair for the dramatic. Charismatic and comedic, yet menacing. Requires strong physicality and excellent comic timing.

SMEE/GREGGORS/ENSEMBLE: The good-natured, bumbling bosun of Black Stache’s crew. Loyal but naive, Smee provides comic relief and moments of warmth. Has a great sense of humor and physical comedy.

PRENTISS/ENSEMBLE: A self-appointed leader among the orphans, brash and eager for power. He’s a bit selfish but shows growth as the play progresses. Needs a balance of arrogance and vulnerability.

TED/ENSEMBLE: A fun-loving, optimistic orphan who is a bit naive but fiercely loyal. This role requires a strong comic presence and a big heart.

LORD ASTER/ENSEMBLE: A composed and principled nobleman who secretly protects the magical starstuff. Portrays wisdom, authority, and a deep affection for his daughter.

HAWKING CLAM/SLANK/ENSEMBLE: As Slank, the actor should portray a pragmatic villain with strong physicality and menace. As Hawking Clam, the role requires comedic timing and physical humor.

MRS. BUMBRAKE/TEACHER/ENSEMBLE: Mrs. Bumbrake is a warm, somewhat scatterbrained caretaker with a lot of heart. Overly protective and occasionally dramatic, she provides comic relief through her exaggerated affection for Molly. Teacher is strict, proper, and authoritative, commanding respect in a no-nonsense way.

CAPTAIN SCOTT/ENSEMBLE: A stern, dignified British naval officer, calm and authoritative but occasionally out of his element. He maintains composure amid chaos and serves as a foil to the more eccentric characters.

ALF/ENSEMBLE: A loyal, good-natured sailor with a simple, earnest demeanor. Kind and slightly naïve, Alf brings warmth and sincerity to both serious and comedic moments.

GREMPKIN/MACK/SANCHEZ/FIGHTING PRAWN/ENSEMBLE: Seeking a versatile actor to play multiple roles: Grempkin: A grumpy, strict schoolmaster with little patience for the orphans. Mack: A mysterious, gruff character who adds intrigue. Sanchez: A pirate with a tough exterior and a few surprising quirks. Fighting Prawn: The wise, dignified leader of the Mollusk tribe, protective and honorable.

TWELFTH NIGHT (Considering Understudies Only)
First Rehearsal: 6/24/25
Twelfth Night Tech: 7/1/25 - 7/3/25
First Public Performance: 7/6/25
Closing: 8/23/25

VIOLA/CESARIO: Viola, shipwrecked and disguised as Cesario, is clever, resourceful, and conflicted as she navigates love for Orsino while falling for Olivia. She balances strength, vulnerability, and wit.

OLIVIA: A noblewoman in mourning, Olivia is strong-willed, passionate, and impulsive, quickly falling for Cesario. She is witty, stubborn, and temperamental in her pursuit of love.

ORSINO: The Duke of Illyria, Orsino is noble and charismatic but overly idealistic in his love for Olivia. He is emotionally driven and can be self-indulgent, often caught up in romantic fantasies.

SEBASTIAN: Viola’s twin brother, Sebastian is bold, confident, and adventurous. He is straightforward and falls quickly in love with Olivia, adding to the play’s mix of mistaken identities.

MALVOLIO: A pompous, self-righteous steward, Malvolio is disdainful of the revelry around him and becomes the target of a cruel prank. He’s arrogant, gullible, and unaware of his own absurdity.

FESTE: The wise fool of the play, Feste is witty, insightful, and able to reveal truths through humor and song. He is clever, perceptive, and often serves as the voice of reason in the chaos.

SIR TOBY BELCH: A drunken, mischievous knight, Sir Toby is fun-loving and loves chaos. He’s loud, boisterous, and enjoys playing tricks, particularly on Malvolio, but is loyal to his friends.

MARIA: Olivia’s clever maid, Maria is practical and quick-witted. She masterminds the prank on Malvolio and is loyal, resourceful, and sharp-tongued.

SIR ANDREW AGUECHEEK: A foolish, vain knight, Sir Andrew is easily manipulated by Sir Toby. He’s pompous but completely incompetent, always trying to impress Olivia despite his ineptitude.

ANTONIO: A loyal sea captain who saves Sebastian, Antonio’s deep love for him leads to confusion when he’s mistaken for Cesario. He is noble, self-sacrificial, and devoted.

CURIO: A servant in Orsino’s court, Curio is loyal and sharp-witted, offering comic moments and insight while supporting Orsino’s pursuit of Olivia.

CAPTAIN/PRIEST: The Captain rescues Viola and guides her through the chaos of Illyria. The Priest marries the couples at the play’s conclusion. Both roles require authority and earnestness.

VALENTINE: A loyal attendant to Orsino, Valentine is courteous and supportive, playing a small but important role in Orsino’s court.
