If you auditioned at the Twin Cities Group Audition in June - you do not need to attend this call as well.

PREPARATION

Please prepare One 2-minute contemporary monologue comic or serious. No classical monologues please. Please bring 1 copy of your headshot and resume stapled together.

THE ALLY

SYNOPSIS: When college professor Asaf is asked by a student to sign a social justice manifesto, what seems at first like a simple choice instead embroils him in an increasingly complex web of conflicting agendas that challenge his allegiances as a progressive, a husband, an artist, an academic, an American, an atheist, and a Jew. With tensions at an all-time high, Asaf is forced to confront the age-old question: “If I am only for myself, what am I?” THE ALLY includes active discourse about Israelis and Palestinians, police violence, and racism.

UPSTREAM

Performance Venue: One World Learning Community School in Saint Paul, MN

1st Rehearsal: March 17, 2025

Opening: April 11, 2025

Closing: April 26, 2025

This play is co-created with the students of the OWL Community school and will be performed day times for school groups, with as many as 6 public performances. The rest will be school performances.

SYNOPSIS: The River’s Daughter has gone missing and it is up to the audience, led by a series of increasingly fantastical nature guides, to find her and bring her home. When tragedy strikes and the River floods, the audience will have to determine what they will do to steward a better world into existence. This immersive and participatory play about climate resilience is being developed with the students of OWL and a number of community partners working in the fields of climate resilience and climate justice.

SEEKING:

TBD. 4 adult professional performers, each will take on multiple roles. Teaching artists or performers with facilitation experience encouraged to audition.

THE WARROAD PROJECT (A new community-based play)
