Breakdown

This one-man fusion of theatre and stand-up is absed on the New York Times #1 best-selling book of the last decade by John Gray. Moving swiftly through a series of vignettes, the show covers everything from dating and marriage to the bedroom; but Men Are From Mars - Women Are From Venus LIVE! is more than just the book. When Mars and Venus collide, the adventures are earth-shatteringly hysterical. It's a great recipe for a night out: a little storytelling blended with some comedy and a dash of sage wisdom from the book.

On the heels of a successful first year on the road and Off-Broadway run, producers are sending out additional companies to meet demand and pick up additional bookings around the country. This will require individuals with the charisma and stamina to carry a one-man show and the creativity and confidence to shape the piece to their own strengths. Seeking 2-3 men for touring and sit-down engagements.

THE HOST
Male - 30s-40s. A skilled comedian with dude-like charm portraying a man who has resisted Mars/Venus work for years, but since meeting the author of the book has changed his ways to discover an improvement in his own relationship. Must be adept at moving quickly through different characters and scenarios with relatable personality and great comedic timing.
