BREAKDOWN
Elle Woods: Gb3-G5 - Mezzo w/ Belt Female Identified (22) An unyielding force of positivity. President of the Delta Nus, the most fabulous sorority on the UCLA campus. Highly underestimated. While chasing one dream all the way to Harvard Law, discovers her full potential and learns to set her sights even higher. Elle will be defined by the funny, quirky, strong, brilliant woman who plays her. Confident, physical front-woman for her Chorus. Strong movement ability a must.
Emmett Forrest: B2-A4 - Baritenor Male Identified (Late 20s) The future of Harvard Law School. With a chip on his shoulder, is the first to spot Elle’s true potential and helps her see it for herself. Little does he know that Elle will return the favor in full. Head strong with a hidden charm.
Warner Huntington III: Eb3-Ab4 - Baritenor Male Identified (23) Plagued by familial pressures, is so single-mindedly set on fulfilling a path set out for him that he misses seeing everything Elle truly has to offer. Leaves Harvard Law to make a living as a male model.
Vivienne Kensington: A3-F5 - Mezzo w/ HIGH belt Female Identified (24) Savage with a no-nonsense attitude. At the beginning of our story, is ready to bulldoze anyone who stands in her way, but by the end, is awakened by Elle’s influence to fight for truth and justice.
Professor Callahan: A2-F#4 - Baritone Male Identified (Late 40s- Early 50s) A male in authority who thinks because of his position (Professor of Law at Harvard), he is above consequence. He asserts his power on Elle which leads to his demise.
Paulette Buonofuonte: A3-A5 - Mezzo w/ Belt Female Identified (30s-40s) Stunk in a rut but is woke to the strength she has inside of her by the one and only Elle Woods and to her new best friend, the infamous “Bend and Snap.” Strong movement ability encouraged.
Kyle B. O’Boyle: Male Identified (30s) A walking God. A UPS delivery guy who desperately wants Paulette to make the first move. Strong movement ability encouraged.
Brooke Wyndham: A3-G5 - Mezzo w/ Belt Female Identified (20s-40s) A former Delta Nu who has single handedly created a fitness empire. Falsely accused of murder, is only rescued by someone who can see her eye to eye, Elle Woods. A physical powerhouse - aerobic stamina a must.
Pilar, Serena, Margot: Mezzo w/ Belt Female Identified (21-23) Elle’s three fierce best friends and Goddesses in their own right. Elle’s seconds in command. Though they aren’t physically with her on her journey, appear to Elle as a Greek Chorus in times of trouble to keep her spirits high, as all best friends do. Queen Bey's in training.
Enid Hoops: Mezzo w/ Belt Female Identified (Late 20s) After serving overseas in the Peace Corps, has come to Harvard Law to grab the Phallocentric War Machine by the throat.
Sundeep Agrawal Padamadam: Baritone Male Identified, Middle-Eastern (Late 20s) Fleeing his country from a coup d’etat, arrives at Harvard to make powerful friends.
Aaron Schultz: Baritone Male Identified (Late 20s) Has made a fortune writing software codes and feels that Harvard Law should be lucky to have him.
Female Ensemble: Female Identified (20s-40s) A fierce and fabulous ensemble made up of irrefutable divas. Play nearly 30 roles. Athletic dancers with a strong sense of rhythm and contemporary hip-hop flair encouraged.
Male Ensemble: Male Identified (20s-40s) A dynamic ensemble of both heavy dance tracks and character roles. Almost as fabulous as the females. Athletic dancers with a strong sense of rhythm and contemporary hip-hop flair encouraged.
