SEEKING:

[GEORGE GOULD STRONG] Caucasian man, 40s. Gould is a composer and dear friends to Edith. He also acts as her accompanist. He is a dapper fellow with a certain boldness about him, a drink and lit cigar are always nearby. He is a confident man who lives on Edith’s money and has some realized insecurities about it. Bari-tenor C3-F4. Pianist preferred, but not required.

[BROOKS SR/JR] African American male, 30s. Brooks Sr. is a loyal butler at Grey Gardens under the employment of Phelan and Edith Beale. He is youthful and attentive. He is a trustworthy and disciplined member of the Beale household and he is very good at his job. Brooks Jr. is the son of Brooks Sr. and is the gardener at Grey Gardens during its dilapidated years under the inhabitance of Edith and Eddie. He does his best to follow orders and fulfill the old women’s requests. Baritone C3-E4.

[JACQUILINE BOUVIER] Caucasian female, 12 years old. Jackie is one of Edie’s younger cousins. Jackie practices horseback riding and welcomes the advice of her grandfather who encourages her to marry well. Jackie is on her way to becoming a fine young woman, with poise, politeness, and enthusiasm. She is aware of the importance of one’s reputation. She enjoys her Aunt Edith’s singing. Juvenile mix-belt C4-E5.

[LEE BOUVIER] Caucasian female, 8 years old. Lee is the younger sister of Jackie whom she spends a lot of time with. Lee is somewhat of a tom boy but is willing to put on a dress for special occasions. She follows the lead of her sister and aspires to follow in her footsteps. Though young, Lee is also socially aware. She also enjoys her Aunt Edith’s singing. Juvenile mix-belt C4-E5.
