Auditions begin at 10AM for both men and women combined. Sign in opens one half hour prior to call. The end time is TBD and when the producer closes the call.

CONTRACT

Disneyworld Rate negotiable, $17.08/hour minimum, Equity 401k, AEA pension, Disney benefits

SEEKING

Disney Parks Live Entertainment is seeking male and female vocalists for Festival of the Lion King; an African-inspired celebration of the music from the feature film; an original musical theatre production performed live in the state of the art, indoor, 1500 seat theatre-in-the-round in Disney's Animal Kingdom®, performed live at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.

PREPARATION

Prepare 16 bars of a musical selection and provide sheet music in correct key for accompanist. Please click the My Profile button at disneyauditions.com to create or update your profile before attending the audition. Bring picture and resume.

Performers must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.
Upon signing of Walt Disney World® Individual Employment Contract, candidates are eligible to immediately apply for membership in Actor’s Equity Association.

Potential relocation and housing may be available to qualified performers hired into specific roles.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

BREAKDOWN

Kiume: The Leader. Must have a strong and powerful presence; Male resonant baritone/bass. 5’10 – 6’2

Zawadi: The Gift. “Mother Earth” to all who know her. Female gospel mezzo-soprano with high belt. 5’5-5’8

Nakawa: The Prince. Good looking and confident. Male pop/R&B second tenor. 5’8-5’10

Kibibi: The Princess. Sweet and impatient. Female pop/gospel second soprano with high belt to E. 5’4 - 5’8
